All you have to do is:
Install / Open Google Maps on your phone.
Log in if you haven't and go to your profile.
Click on offline maps (As shown in the video)
Click on "Select your own map"
Now you can download maps for any area you want to! (Before going on the trip, download the map of the whole city or region which you are planning to explore. Google maps work offline if it's downloaded and it is such a life saver!)
